La Bataille de Leipzig 1813
A grand-tactical simulation of the Battle of Leipzig on October 16, 1813, in which Napoleon’s forces defend the Confederation of the Rhine against the combined armies of Austria, Prussia, Russia, and other German states. Seven maps depict the towns and villages around Leipzig, including Wachau, Markkleeberg, Liebertwolkwitz, Auenhain, and Gülden-Gossa. More than 1,200 counters represent the opposing forces, supported by informational markers. Battalions are the primary units, with each hex covering 125 yards and each step representing 100 infantry, 50 cavalry, or one gun. The battle can be played in full or through scenarios leading toward an overall victory.
