Lair of Arcanous the Black
An adventure set in a volcanic hideaway, where a feared fugitive mage known as Arcanous the Black has made his lair. A party of mid-level adventurers tracks him down, confronts the threats within, and seeks to claim the 5,000-gold-piece reward. Designed for 1st- or 2nd-edition AD&D and the Filbar Plains setting, the scenario can be used as a one-shot or adapted for an ongoing campaign and other fantasy roleplaying systems.
