Lamentations of the Gingerbread Princess
A fantasy roleplaying adventure for characters of levels 1–4, set in a small farming fiefdom whose halfling community has been driven into the northern forest. After the ruler realizes that the exiled halflings supported the local economy, he offers a reward for their return and the restoration of the orchards. The party travels into the forest, investigates the consequences of the pogrom, and decides how to deal with the refugees, their valuables, and the lord’s demands.
