Lances
An interpretive role-playing game set in 17th-century Spain, where each session is staged as a theatrical comedy of the Spanish Golden Age. Players portray figures inspired by the works and adventures of authors such as Quevedo, Lope de Vega, and Tirso de Molina. The game follows the structure of a period performance, from the opening loa to the closing dance. A simple system uses cards from a Spanish deck and counters to support improvised scenes and collaborative play.
