Players build influence through alliances, ambition, conquest, and control while navigating intrigue among courts, monasteries, and merchant houses. A hidden ninja compact works to preserve the existing balance by manipulating politics and eliminating key figures. The struggle determines whether the Unbound ronin establish a new order or plunge the realm into further chaos.
