Leo

Players guide a lion along a modular track from his bed to a barber shop while managing time. On a turn a player plays a card to advance the lion 1–4 spaces, then reveals the animal tile landed on; matching colors keep the clock unchanged, while mismatches advance the clock by 1–5 hours depending on the animal. The clock starts at 8:00 a.m. and reaching 8:00 p.m. forces the lion to go home and the tiles are reset for another day. The group must reach the barber within five in-game days to complete the task.

What a lovely design for a kids game! The theme is adorable, the rules are simple, but the gameplay is very enjoyable for adults as well. The main element of the game is memory, which is cleverly implemented, but playing the cards also offers a surprisingly fun tactical aspect (what to play so that the other players can make a good move as well on their next turn). Nice components, thick cards, just an overall really good co-op for families!
