Marshal Turenne and the Prince of Condé compete for influence during the Fronde, as royal authority weakens during the minority of Louis XIV. Players command the Regent’s forces and their allies, or the coalition of rebellious princes, nobles, and foreign powers, while Spain seeks to recover territories from France. Military leaders may change allegiance as the conflict develops.
