Les Ombres d'Esteren - Livre 0: Prologue
A dark, low-magic medieval setting on a misty peninsula, with steep hills, dense forests and mountain fortresses, where supernatural forces are rare and dangerous rather than commonplace. The book introduces the setting and core rules needed to run an introductory session, and includes six ready-made, illustrated player characters with varied backgrounds. It also presents three linked prologue scenarios—one exploring dream and madness, one a poisoning investigation, and one dealing with disappearance and occultism—that form the opening episodes leading into the full campaign.
