Lex Arcana Core Rulebook
A roleplaying game set in an alternate fifth-century Roman Empire that has survived through divination and the guidance of haruspices, sages, and oracles. Players portray Custodes, imperial agents of the Cohors Auxiliaria Arcana, sent across the Empire and beyond to face barbarian threats, ancient monsters, dark magic, demons, and secret cults. The core rulebook provides the setting and rules for creating characters, undertaking missions, investigating supernatural dangers, and resolving exploration, conflict, and other challenges in a world where Roman history, mythology, and legend overlap.
