Players take the roles of guards in the Emperor’s Secret Cohort, investigating mystical events, searching for lost relics, and facing internal, external, and supernatural threats across the ancient world. The starter set includes quick-start rules, five ready-made characters, a prepared adventure, reference sheets, character sheets, a province map, a double-sided location map, 18 fate cards, and eight dice.
