This science-fiction roleplaying supplement details a planet inhabited by sapient arthropods whose extreme population growth periodically leads to brutal, cannibalistic wars. The native Xxn are otherwise welcoming and xenophilic, and their violent cycles serve as a biological means of controlling population pressure. The setting is designed for 2D6 science-fiction roleplaying games, including Cepheus Engine and OSFRPG, and can be adapted to other systems.
