Limit Up
A board game simulates commodity futures trading and portfolio management. Players buy and sell contracts in seven markets, including grains, livestock, copper, T-Bills, and gold, each with different levels of volatility and risk. Players respond to price movements, government policy, weather, and other market forces while balancing speculation, hedging, leverage, and diversification. An identified insider adjusts their portfolio based on advance information, providing clues about potential market changes.
