Lords of the Sierra Madre (Second Edition)

Set in northern Mexico in 1898, the game casts players as hacendados competing during an era of rapid economic expansion and foreign investment. Players build empires of railroads, mines, ranches, and other businesses while taxing, bribing, raiding, and sabotaging their rivals. Banditos, strikers, police, federal troops, and the U.S. Army can all become part of these struggles, while political power offers a path to the governor’s office or even the presidency.
