This fan-created expansion explores the sandmen and their etoile masters, organized and ruthless entities that threaten humanity with violence, death, and transformation into agents of unbound machines from an unknown time and dimension. It collects setting material, references, and competing theories about the sandmen and other major creatures of the Dark•Matter setting, drawing on mailing lists, online discussions, and play experiences.
