Malandros
A tabletop role-playing game of swindlers, street fighters, and close-knit communities in Rio de Janeiro during the final days of imperial Brazil. Players portray gang leaders, industrialists, fishermen, martial artists, and other locals living among slums, palaces, street gangs, and outlawed traditions. Using the DramaSystem rules, the game focuses on personal struggles and interpersonal drama. Characters are connected as family, friends, rivals, or enemies, each seeking something from the others, such as respect, love, fear, or influence.
