2022 · Expansion for Base-game
Meadow: Downstream
This expansion sends players into aquatic environments to observe river-, stream-, and lake-based flora and fauna. Players add over 80 new wildlife cards and a thematic envelope to the base game, then use a kayaking mechanism to progress down a river and score points for advancing along the waterway. A double-sided river board lets groups choose between a fast stream or a calm river to adjust the level of competition. The expansion integrates into the original game’s exploration and set-collection play, introducing new scoring opportunities tied to aquatic habitats and movement downstream.

Fiore3.0 Additional hassle for nothing rewarding. Worrying about moving my kayak along the river to collect points is just annoying and distracting.
