Mercenaries Wanted
Players lead rival mercenary companies, recruiting and promoting recruits to form teams and complete contracts for gold. Each round players assemble squads, equip and send them on jobs to earn income, then make roster decisions—who to retain, promote, or dismiss—before the next hiring phase. After several contract rounds, promoted mercenaries compete in tournaments that reward fame and additional rewards, and players vie to balance short-term earnings with long-term development to score the most by game end.
