Players draft Development cards to assemble and evolve a personal Artificial Intelligence, building a tableau of calculation, hacking, game, and other modules. A reserve mechanic lets players hold cards and craft immediate-placement decisions; each card scores as it is played, so timing and placement affect chains and combinations. Rounds also award points for meeting the Original AI’s objectives, and endgame scoring grants bonuses tied to each AI’s features. The game emphasizes hand management, sequencing, and chain-building across two rounds; the highest-scoring AI after those rounds wins.
