Metody are vitriol spirits from Malfeas, the demon realm separated from the mortal world. They emerge from cracks filled with Theion To, the acidic substance known as the vitriol of Hell, and take twisted human or disfigured animal forms. Their passage leaves smoldering footprints and a sulfurous stench.
