Middle East
This bestiary presents mythic creatures from the traditions of Persia, Mesopotamia, Israel, and Arabia, including spirits, demons, divine guardians, undead, and legendary beasts. Entries range from low-threat creatures such as the horned almiraj to powerful beings such as Humbaba, the rukh, and the taniniver. The supplement also includes rules and themes for exploring desolate deserts, where encroaching sands, supernatural dangers, and harsh natural conditions threaten the remnants of the fertile crescent.
