Midnight Legion: Portal of Life
This interactive gamebook follows a survivor exploring an alien, savage world filled with unfamiliar life. At the last remaining base of the Midnight Legion, a computer controls technology that could destroy the new world or help it thrive. Players recover lost memories, gather information and resources, and decide how to overcome combat, stealth, diplomacy, puzzles, and traps. Their choices shape the character’s abilities and determine how they confront the agent who betrayed the mission and the base’s sentient, possibly deranged computer. The adventure can be played as a standalone story or as the conclusion to a trilogy.
