The characters include Crushclaw, a tragic crustacean hulk with a forgotten past; Bombard, an iron man gone wrong; Bada Boom, a super-powered ganglord; Gouger, a mercenary who hunts superhumans; the Living Reposity, an intergalactic harbinger of extinction; and Manta Ray, an Atlantean bent on revenge against the surface world.
