Mithral, Rattlesnakes, and a Cask of Dwarven Whiskey (OSR)
A mad wizard offers gold for rare ingredients needed for arcane research. Characters travel across the Borderlands Provinces to locate unrefined mithral, capture three giant rattlesnakes alive, and recover a large quantity of dwarven whiskey. The adventure focuses on acquiring the materials and transporting them back, with complications including mithral mutants, hostile salvagers, and dangerous wildlife. It is designed for 2–6 characters of Tier 2 or levels 5–7 and can be run as a standalone expedition, a side quest, or as part of a larger campaign.
