Much Looms at the Heights of a Land Laid Low
A fortified ridge rises above a growing refugee camp, its wooded slopes crowned with ancient forts built from the ruins of a fallen wall. The strongholds now serve as final bastions for a displaced people. This system-neutral, sandbox-oriented framework provides guidance for improvising the ridge and its surroundings. It includes on-the-fly map generation, suggested inhabitants, possessions, activities, fort structures, drainage routes, and a destructive residue affecting the area.
