Mutants and Death Ray Guns
A fast-playing skirmish miniatures game set 200 years after nuclear and biochemical wars have devastated Earth. Players lead bands of humans, mutants, robots, androids, sentient plants, evolved animals, or the disease-ridden Wretched through irradiated terrain and other hazards. Games focus on movement, combat, scavenging artifacts, and competing for food, energy cells, and uncontaminated water. Rules cover mutations, power armor, advanced weapons, and psionic abilities, with campaign rules allowing characters to gain equipment and new mutations between battles. Scenarios and pre-generated characters support battles lasting around 30–45 minutes, using as few as four miniatures per player on a small playing area.
