Each entry includes enhanced abilities, lore, and mechanics for use as challenging foes, allies, companions, or mentors in mythic or standard campaigns. The book also provides new monster templates, feats, and universal monster rules, along with guidelines for colossal creatures, mythic plants and fungi, familiars, and companions. Appendices organize creatures by challenge rating, type, and subtype, including new options for expanding existing monsters.
