Mythic Traps
This supplement introduces mythic traps designed to function as active encounters rather than simple damage checks. Each trap takes turns in initiative order like a monster or NPC, using its components under the Game Master’s guidance and applying mythic rules in both mythic and non-mythic campaigns. It includes four example traps: an efreeti’s tomb with fireball-spitting statues and rune-covered floors, a hall where disappearing ground and wall-mounted spears create difficult choices, a serpent-filled chamber of poisonous vapors and closing walls, and a mummy’s curse involving suffocating sand, scarab swarms, and a possible mythic mummy.
