Night of the Grand Octopus
Players lead rival cults seeking magical components from a famous English university for young wizards and witches, hoping to awaken an ancient cosmic entity from the ocean depths. Each round, players secretly assign cultist and monster tokens to locations before revealing them simultaneously. Uncontested cultists strengthen their cult, while rival claims force negotiation or cost both sides strength. Monster encounters eliminate cultists, adding risk to the search for the components needed to perform the ritual.
