An expansion for the base game adds eight additional townsmen, marked with red backgrounds. Before play begins, they are shuffled into the starting deck before any townsmen are returned to the box. The set includes two Bankers, two Jack-of-all-trades, a Historian, a Merchant, a Haggler, and a Duchess.
