On Every Golden Scale
In a balkanized science-fiction world, the player characters are tasked with transporting a peace offering between two countries whose war is nearing its end. The journey crosses dangerous terrain, faces bandit attacks, and draws the attention of a hidden agent working to prolong the conflict. The nature of the tribute also raises questions, since any harm that comes to it could determine how long the war continues. This short adventure is designed for Cepheus Engine, Cepheus Deluxe, and Original Science Fiction Roleplaying Game rules, and can be adapted to other 2D6 systems.
