Rules questions

Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.

Do we use all four types of Earth Contract in a game?

No. Separate the Contracts into four piles by type, then choose two piles—randomly or by choice—for the game; return the other two to the box (p. 2).

For a Blueprint Contract, do I need to have built the buildings shown on my Blueprint cards?

No. You need three Blueprints for the same type of Building; the Advanced Building markers do not need to be placed on the map (p. 2).

What do I need to fulfill a Complex Control Contract?

You need two Advanced Buildings of the depicted type in the same Complex, and that Complex must be size 3 or greater (p. 2).

Do I get another Private Goal card instead of my normal starting goals?

No. Each player gets one Mini Private Goal in addition to their normal three, for four Private Goals total (p. 2).

Can I complete more than one of my Private Goals?

No. Even with four Private Goal cards, you can complete only one during the game (p. 2).

How do I score the Mini Private Goal?

Have Tech tiles on all the highlighted spaces of your Lab to complete it; it rewards 9 OP (p. 2).
