On the Smolensk Road (Revised)
A DramaSystem roleplaying game about Napoleon’s disastrous 1812 retreat from Moscow. Players portray members of the collapsing French Army as they struggle against freezing weather, Russian forces, hunger, exhaustion, and one another. The game includes historical background, character outlines, thematic suggestions, and names, along with optional material for introducing horror elements or adding magic to the Napoleonic setting.
