Once there was One
An Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition tournament module for four experienced 4th-level characters. The characters inhabit the surreal Mindscape of Sund Flaeme, whose latest trauma has driven him into a fugue state. They must navigate realistic but unreliable hallucinations, confront shifting coping mechanisms, and rearrange the fractured psyche to restore equilibrium. The characters gradually suspect that they are artificial creations, while the identity of the original persona remains uncertain until the conclusion. Includes trigger warnings and is intended for players aged 18 and over.
