One Bling to Rule Them All: Scaling Magic Items
This supplement introduces scaling magic items that grow in power alongside their wielder, reducing the need to replace or discard older equipment. It provides rules for attunement, generating and customizing abilities, and modifying or “hacking” scalars. More than 100 abilities across five tiers cover common character archetypes. A rank-based talent system lets players distribute points among abilities, while the Game Master assigns the available abilities and determines their overall power. The supplement also includes setting suggestions and rules compatible with Pathfinder and D&D 3.5.
