Onslaught
Covers the Western Allied campaign from just after the Normandy invasion to the crossing of the Rhine. Players roll for turn order each month, with ties ending that month’s play. Limited supply points activate unit stacks to move or attack, while additional expenditure allows breakthrough operations combining both. The Allied player must break out of Normandy, capture supply ports, and advance toward Germany, while the German player delays the advance and denies those ports. Paratroops, reinforcements, replacements, strategic movement, and the German Bulge offensive add to the campaign. Victory is generally based on the balance of German units west of the Rhine and Allied units east of it after 20 months.
