Order of Succession
This one-shot fantasy adventure follows a group of heirs summoned to Castle Vezio for the Yule season to receive a gift left by their absent father. As the story unfolds, prophecy, betrayal, murder, jealousy, greed, and the struggle for power shape the characters’ journey through the castle and its wintry mountain kingdom. Designed for four 5th-level player characters, the adventure includes updated statistics for its characters and enemies. Its setting-independent themes support both inexperienced players and groups seeking a darker alternative to a conventional adventure.
