2005 · Sourcebook (rules/options to enhance play)
Othello
This roleplaying sourcebook adapts Shakespeare’s tragedy into a setting for tabletop adventures. It explores the history, characters, and wartime setting of Venice and Turkey, focusing on themes of jealousy, betrayal, revenge, and murder. Players can incorporate the setting and its characters into an ongoing campaign or use the included adventure seeds as standalone scenarios. Several possible endings allow groups to alter the course of the familiar story while developing their own version of its tragic events.
