Over the Edge
This short adventure for four 9th-level characters takes place along a newly established trade route through a mountain pass. Manticore raids have halted travel, and an adventuring party sent to investigate has disappeared. The characters meet two hill giants, locate the sole surviving adventurer, descend a cliff, and explore the manticores’ cave. The raids are being directed by a juvenile red dragon using the creatures to extort tolls from travelers, and the adventure culminates in a confrontation with the dragon and its accumulated treasure.
