Over the Top: Character Primer
Set in 2364, the game combines high fantasy with the conditions of the First World War. The continent of Magos is divided by trenches as the Elven Compact and the Alliance of Many wage a conflict involving ancient magic and industrial war machines. This character guide provides background on Magos, its nations, the Western Front, and the ongoing war. It also includes rules for adapting an adventuring party into a battlefield squad, along with period-inspired equipment and mechanics for battles, trenches, gas, shrapnel, and other features of the Great War.
