Banyan is a shard of wildness and mystery, home to unusual creatures and remote, untamed landscapes. Giant beasts move among walking trees, flower-plumed birds fill the skies, and stranger beings inhabit the misty Stonefog Mountains and the shard’s hidden depths. Its people devote themselves to Compassion, but Banyan’s wilderness remains dangerous and can quickly overwhelm the unwary.
