In Pompeii in 79 AD, the Vulcanalia festival fills the city with games, markets, feasts, and other celebrations. When Vesuvius erupts, lava, ash, and falling stones spread through the streets. As panic grows and the city is threatened, the festivities continue amid the chaos.
