Paradox
Set in 1966, the game follows a group of young advertising professionals visiting a wealthy client’s summer house in the Adirondack Mountains. Their assignment is to develop a campaign for a new color television, but the weekend brings them into contact with the region’s natural beauty and a growing, inexplicable evil. Players build their characters and confront forces that can undermine their identities and sanity. The game emphasizes atmosphere, creativity, and mystery over action, while the game master portrays a cast of unusual supporting characters using simple rules.
