Perils of the Orient
A d20 pulp-campaign supplement examining the villainous archetypes and themes found in stories of “Oriental peril” from the late 19th century through the 1950s. It includes ready-to-use NPC statistics for Mongol warriors, Tibetan mystics, Chinatown tongs, sinister masterminds, and other adversaries, along with exotic weapons and creatures such as the Mongolian Death Worm. The book also acknowledges and contextualizes the racial stereotypes and historical prejudices embedded in the genre.
