Plastic Hearts: Tetsujin

A cyberpunk setting supplement for Black Tokyo, focusing on the Tetsujin, artificially intelligent robots created for heavy labor, dangerous work, and military service. Their increasingly sophisticated neural networks allow them to learn, develop personalities, and approach human-level intelligence. The setting follows the Tetsujin’s rise from costly industrial machines to household workers, soldiers, and bodyguards, along with their eventual emancipation under corporate restrictions. It explores robot liberty and the contrasting continued struggles of other created peoples, including POETICA and Nekomusume.
