Playing a Sidekick
This tabletop RPG supplement provides rules for playing a sidekick creature as the main character, with the accompanying humanoid serving as an NPC. It covers familiars, eidolons, animal companions with the Bonded Mount ability, and other unusual creatures, with a minimum Intelligence assumed for characters taking the lead.
