Potion-Making: Practice

2005 · Card Game

Potion-Making: Practice

Players act as apprentice mages gathering elements and assembling recipes to produce elixirs, powders, talismans and magical creatures. A shared Desk of Elements displays public component cards while each player holds a small hand of formula cards that show required elements and point values. On a turn, a player draws up to a hand size then plays cards to discard elements to the Desk, take elements from the Desk to complete a formula, combine existing completed formulas with Desk elements to craft a higher‑value formula, or cast spells that manipulate cards on the Desk or in players’ displays. Completed creations score points and some actions can reuse or steal elements and formulas from other players. Play continues until hands and the deck are exhausted; highest score wins.
