A cosmic force known as the Tempest assaults the universe, threatening realms of fantasy, science fiction, horror, and the wild west. Players take the roles of Awakened superheroes and defend existence against the invasion. The rules support several approaches to the conflict, including working as clandestine agents, conducting guerrilla operations behind enemy lines, leading elite strike teams, or commanding troops in open warfare across multiple realms.
