This sourcebook presents Hell, its rulers, and the hierarchy of devils, from Asmodeus and the archdevils to the inhabitants of its deepest pits. It details each infernal layer, the roles and promotion of devils, and the methods used to pursue diabolical goals. The book provides guidelines for infernal contracts, devil talismans and true names, Hell-themed spells, magic items, and artifacts. It also introduces the diabolist prestige class with an imp companion, along with five new kinds of devils, and supports adventures involving the infernal markets, the gates of Avernus, and the broader planes.
