Players command a space cruiser visiting Rim sectors to recruit allies for an intergalactic council while resisting the Cosmic Hegemony. On each turn, players navigate the board, explore sectors, and spend actions to forge alliances that provide abilities or support when later summoned. Resource management and route planning shape which worlds can be reached and which allies can be secured before opponents do. The game uses a compact set of components and resolves in a relatively short playtime, focusing play on tactical decisions about movement, ally acquisition, and timing of support calls.
