Railway Rivals Map A: South Wales Coalfield (East)
A map for use with Railway Rivals, covering the eastern South Wales Coalfield, a hilly region known as the valleys. Players build railway routes through coal-producing areas, with much of the traffic heading to ports for export. Special runs require alternate routes to connect with specified ports or towns on the map edge, including connections toward England. The challenging terrain makes this map less suitable for beginners; the leapfrog variant can reduce its difficulty.
